A wonderful rare chair by Tom Dixon and manufactured by EPS 2006

“Grab Chair”
Made from polystyrene, making the chair lightweight, however surprisingly robust and comfortable. Stamped Tom Dixon 2006 to the seat and stamped “Supported by O-BASF The Chemical Co nova innovene”
Originally 500 were made for the London Design Festival 2006, 500 were up for grabs free to the first 500 people in Trafalgar Square in 2006 .
This is in grey, it shows signs of use and is distressed all over but is in good stable condition and can be used for sitting in, the distressing adds to the appeal of the chair and the finish on the chair could be mistaken for concrete. It could be used inside or outside.
