REGENCY ROSEWOOD X STOOL WITH TAPESTRY 1830S Designer: Unknown
Manufacturer: Unknown English
Year: 1830s
Size: 60cm 45cm deep 38cm tall

Wonderful footstool made from solid rosewood, dates from the late Regency period, 1830s. A good quality wide stool with very nicely shaped X frame base and tapestry upholstered seat, the tapestry is not the original but dates from early 20th Century. Very well executed, with lovely detail to the corners of the needlework upholstery. The stool retains the original finish and is in very good condition with nice patina all over, a couple of small marks to the tapestry as can be seen in the photos. ST1623350
