Wonderful pair of vintage handmade planters. Solid Douglas Fir Pine with dovetail corner joints, lead lined, probably originally produced for holding ice for use in a kitchen. Date from the late 19th Century. Would now make wonderful plant holders. In good over all condition, some ageing and wear over all. They can be used either indoors or outdoors. The planters vary slightly in size, one measures 33cm wide 28cm deep 43 cm tall to the rear of the planter, sloping to 29cm to the front. The second planter measures 33cm wide 28cm deep 43cm tall at the back sloping to 29cm tall to the front. ST1492100  MAKE ENQUIRY
