PAIR 1970S PINE SCANDINAVIAN DINING CHAIRS IMARI TAPIOVAARA STYLE

Wonderful pair of hall chairs dating from the 1970s. Very much in the style of Imari Tapiovaara. Made from solid Pine. Very good quality with groove detail to the seat, decorative piercing to the back rest and wedge detail where the legs join the seats. Very nice wedge detail to the tops of the legs to the underside of the seat. There is a very folk art feel to them with a pierced decoration to the back rest. Made from good heavy Pine. Probably Scandinavian Norse in origin.

Good vintage condition, some signs of use over all, signs of distressing to the seats.
