MID CENTURY INDUSTRIAL METAL SAND CASTING FLASK LARGE GARDEN PLANTER D

Industrial Sand Casting Flask which would make a very interesting planter or raised bed. Great for an Industrial look in the garden and would add real interest to a garden theme whether industrial or modern. Very good quality, heavy piece made from Steel with great texture and patination. Each planter is made up of 2 sections that stack on top of each other, a liner or pot can be used to hold the soil prior to planting.
Originally used a sand cast flask in a Coventry foundry. They date from the second half of the 20th Century.
Wonderful industrial planters, great quality that would work in any garden.
Measurements excluding handle 53cm x 38cm x 25cm tall (each piece is 12.5cm tall). alternative casting flasks also available in various sizes.
