BENTWOOD CHAIR NO 14 BY THONET 19TH CENTURY ART NOUVEAU

Wonderful bentwood chair by M Thonet. This chair was originally designed in 1859; this one dates from around 1890 – the Art Nouveau period.

In good original condition, wonderfully patinated all over. Stamped to the rear of the seat of the chair B & J. T

Made from bent solid and laminated Beech with moulded plywood seat.
