1950S INDUSTRIAL METEK TRAVELLING LAMP ALUMINIUM FOLDING LAMP WH

Wonderful desk lamp by Metek England from the 1950s. Made from polished aluminium with steel rod upright, bakelite lamp fitting, newly rewired. Designed originally as a travel lamp, its fully manoeuvrable to many different positions and it retains the original bracket to the underside and spring allowing the lamp to be hung up. The lamp can also be locked into a closed up position when not in use. In good vintage condition, signs of wear and patination all over.

Stamped Made in England APOP Licence No 1543 to the underside.

Currently fitted with a small lamp plug, this can be easily changed to a standard 3 pin plug.
