1950S COCONUT HUSK SHELL ICE BUCKET

Wonderful Coconut husk shell, hand crafted to be used as an ice bucket.
The internal dish is polished and the exterior has a natural finish with patina developed through time. The coir fibre in the husk allows the lid to “velcro” to the base of the husk. The stork to the top of the lid acts as a handle for the lid. The underside of the base has been polished to allow the coconut to stand stable on a surface.

A wonderful natural form used as a functioning piece.
