VINTAGE BESPOKE HAND PRODUCED WALNUT TABLE

Wonderful bespoke made table, made from solid Walnut.  The table was produced in the 1960s and the top is made from one piece of solid antique English Walnut, probably dating from the late 19th Century. The top has had thin pieces of wood placed in the natural cracks from the timber drying and a few patch repairs, this was done when the table was made and shows that the top was an older piece of timber.  The turned legs are made from Oak and tool marks have been left to each leg for decorative purposes which adds texture to the piece and compliments the detail on the Walnut top.

The table has been produced by an accomplished craftsman as all the tooling and chisel marks show great skill and confidence.

Beautiful grain, patination and colour to the top where the wood has mellowed over time.

In good vintage condition.
